WICHITA — There’s a new, unnamed owner of the former Brooklyn’s Chophouse building on West 21st Street, and he already has a tenant to lease the space.
It’s Larry Harmon, who has decided to locate his west-side Larry Bud’s Sports Bar & Grill there instead of in the former Two Brothers BBQ and Burger Grill space on West Central as he originally planned.
The owner of the former Brooklyn’s space, which was Players before that, “has a better deal for us,” Harmon says.
That space is about a third bigger than the 6,600-square-foot West Central space. Harmon says that offers “a lot of opportunities to do a lot more catering.”
He’s got a lot of remodeling ahead of him, so Harmon says he’s can’t give an opening date yet.
“It’ll be a little bit, but definitely before football season.”
